ENVIRO-CELL Vertical Cartridge Work
Booths are work spaces designed to isolate
and capture contaminants where welding,
grinding, sanding, and mixing operations are
conducted. Fugitive dust, smoke and fumes
are removed from the open production area
and contained within the booth. The Enviro-
Cell eliminates the need for central dust
collection systems and provides a clean,
safe working environment. Housekeeping is
restricted to the interior of the booth. The
work area is continuously cleaned by
PulseMax Cartridge Filters offering filtration
capabilities of 99.8% efficiency down to 0.5
microns. Air discharge is recirculated back
into the environment. Knocked down Booth
Panels are custom designed to meet
customer specifications. Capture velocities
can vary; however, recommended standard
velocities at the open end of an open booth
design are normally 120-130 fpm.
Both Back Sections are completely
contained and constructed of heavy steel
plate in an all-welded assembly ready for
immediate use. Pulse-Max standard paper
filter cartridges utilize a unique lock-up
mechanism for filter seal, allowing for quick
change and removal of filter media when
required. Access to the filter section of the
system is through the aluminum louver
intake sections on the front. Fans are belt
driven and backward curved, reducing noise
and increasing horsepower efficiency.
The compressed air manifold for filter
blowdown is nested inside the unit for
convenient system installation against an
existing wall or corner. Pulse Controls are
standard, complete with Photohelic Gauge
monitoring, and supplied with a timer in a
NEMA 12 control box. Motor controls, if
supplied, are housed in the same control
box for ease of connection. Standard system
sizes range from 6,000 to 16,000 cfm, with
custom capacities also available.
Note: A clean, dry compressed air supply
source is required.
