The Zone series is built for facilities that need ambient air filtration rather than direct source capture. Units are available for ceiling or wall mounting, use multi-stage filtration, and are designed for simple setup and outside-end filter access for easier service. Standard ambient air filtration systems range from the Zone 1100 through the Zone 7000, with compact single-room units and larger ambient air cleaner configurations for bigger spaces.

The Zone ambient air cleaner is designed for spaces where airborne dust remains in the room and needs continuous air polishing. Common applications include smoky rooms, room air polishing, mixing and weighing environments, glove box media blasting environments, and food processing environments.

The Zone series includes several standard configurations. Smaller models range from 1,100 to 3,000 CFM and use 115V single-phase motors with direct-drive blowers, while larger 3,500 and 7,000 CFM models use 2 HP TEFC motors and belt-drive blowers with 208-230/460V power options. Depending on the model, units weigh from 95 to 435 pounds and use MERV 8 pleated pre-filters with bag filters, charcoal after-filters, or HEPA after-filtration depending on the configuration.

Optional Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization is available on 115/1/60 Zone units up to 3000 CFM. The NPBI option adds ions into the exhaust air stream to help agglomerate fine particles, reduce odors, and target pathogens. Third-party results include 69.09% for Tuberculosis, 93.50% for Norovirus, 96.24% for MRSA and Staphylococcus, 99.50% for Mold Spores, 99.69% for E. coli, and 99.4% for Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Zone series can be configured with several mounting, filtration, and accessory options to fit the application. Available options include MERV 15 and HEPA filtration upgrades, chain mounting kits, pressure gauge / filter change indicators, eye bolts, wall mounting brackets, strut channel hanging brackets, aluminum mesh pre-filters, silencers, and alternate motor voltage options.
