Cyclone Dust Collector
The Tornado TXE series is an industrial cyclone dust collector designed to deliver high efficient cyclonic dust separation without internal filter media or water-based collection. With airflow capacities from 440 to 26,400 CFM depending on static pressure and model selection, the TXE provides a durable dust cyclone separator solution for applications that require consistent airflow, low maintenance, and reliable particulate separation.

The TXE series improves on standard cyclone separator dust design with a high-efficiency length-to-diameter ratio, rectangular inlet, involute inlet, and air-tight dust receiver. These features help improve separation efficiency, support consistent airflow, and reduce maintenance in demanding applications.
Tornado TXE Range
- TXE-32 to TXE-1120 models
- 440 to 26,400 CFM
- 586 to 21,200 CFM at peak efficiency
- 14 ga. to 7 ga. steel construction
- Custom motor and fan assemblies available
The Tornado TXE series is used in applications where reliable cyclone separation and reduced maintenance are important. Common uses include finishing and polishing, media blasting, mixing, combustible metals, deburring, woodworking, mining, classifying, and material handling.
Common Applications
- Finishing and polishing
- Media blasting
- Mixing operations
- Combustible metals
- Deburring
- Woodworking
- Mining
- Material handling
The TXE series delivers efficient cyclone separation without filters to replace, water to manage, or internal media that can restrict airflow. This helps reduce maintenance, support consistent performance, and lower operating costs compared with some media-based or wet dust collection systems.
Standard Features
- High-efficiency cyclone design
- Rectangular inlet
- Involute inlet configuration
- Air-tight dust receiver
- No internal filter media
- No sludge or water cleanup
- Welded and flanged assemblies
- Durethane DTM coating
The Tornado TXE series is available in a broad airflow range depending on model size and static pressure. Standard TXE models are rated up to 90% efficient on particles 15 to 20 microns and larger, while TXEF inline dual cyclone configurations can reach up to 99% efficiency on the same particle range, depending on dust characteristics.
Performance Range
- 440 to 16,000 CFM at 2 in. wg
- 586 to 21,200 CFM at 4 in. wg
- 732 to 26,400 CFM at 6 in. wg
- Up to 90% efficiency with TXE
- Up to 99% efficiency with TXEF
- 15 to 20 micron particle range
The TXE series can be configured with options to improve discharge handling and downstream dust control. Available options include after-filter assemblies, rotary airlocks and feeders, vortex breakers, and custom motor or fan selections based on the application.
Available Options
- After-filter assemblies
- Rotary airlocks and feeders
- Vortex breaker
- Custom motor and fan assemblies
- Multiple power options
